Hey!

Welcome to my website and all things Team Mead! I created this site as a way to reach out to more people who are looking to improve their health & fitness! Let me tell you a little bit about myself.

I started training seriously in 2009, which is when I decided to enter my first bodybuilding competition. Back then the Bikini division was called Sports Model and I placed 3rd in my first competition, I was so happy! After the competition was over and all the strict diet & training that comes with it, I struggled to live a normal life. I lacked motivation and gained a lot of weight. This is what they call the ‘post comp blues’. It happens to a lot of competitors. It took me a year to finally get back on track and into a routine & back to a comfortable weight. I didn't compete again until 2011. This time I WON the state competition! I was over the moon. I then went to compete at nationals two weeks later & to my disbelief I won that too! I was on such a high & really got a thrill from being on stage & competing. But once again I struggled to adjust to normal life post comp. It was an ongoing cycle that I struggled with. I would go from an extremely restrictive diet & training program to then over eating and I just messed up my metabolism. The same thing happened when I competed in 2013 when I came 3rd at the WA State Championships. It was only finally in 2014 that I found a more healthy, flexible approach to both my diet and training. In 2015 I decided to make the switch from Bikini to the Figure division. I came 2nd in my first ever figure competition at the O’Mara Classic, Perth. I then went on to compete at the first Arnold Classic Australia where I placed 6th in the country. This was my first season as a figure competitor so I was really happy with my achievements.

I stopped competing in 2015 but I remained training and working in the fitness industry because it's a part of my life and I love it. In 2019 I fell pregnant with my first child & gave birth to my beautiful daughter Marli in December. Since becoming a mum my life and priorities have changed, but fitness is still an important part of my life. It's just a matter of finding the time and juggling everything! Becoming a mum has definitely helped me to appreciate time management and about achieving balance.

I love that I now can work from home helping people from all over the world to achieve their goals!

My main aim is to help motivate and inspire others to achieve their health and fitness goals. I have been through the ups and downs and I want to help others learn from my own experiences. Competing is definitely a sport that takes dedication & sacrifice but it shouldn't mean ruining your health & happiness. Also, I don’t just want to help people who are wishing to compete, I want to help ANYONE who wants to improve their life and feel better about themselves. My clients range from bodybuilders looking to compete, teenagers looking to improve their confidence, mums getting fit after having a baby, guys & girls wanting to get strong, plus anyone and everyone in between! We all have our own reasons for wanting to get fit and healthy and I am here to help anyone. I look forward to working with you & helping you achieve your goals!

Remember, you don't have to be great to start, but you do have to start to be great! We all start somewhere, don't be afraid to start living the life you have always dreamed of!

Jade xx
